I’ve had to take a couple of days off from blogging recently, mostly due to volume of work as well as family stuff. But I’m back now, and I’m hoping to get back into my blogging routine.
That said, we’re doing “What Would You Do?” Wednesday a day late, on Thursday. So, take a look at the following video:
So, Zach was on the PCT in 2016, and made a very entertaining series of YouTube videos about the experience. What I want you to do this week is to view this video as if you and he were traveling together. What kind of illness do you think he’s dealing with, and what are you going to suggest he do? If it gets worse, how will you manage that?
Not a super exciting medical scenario, but if we’re honest with ourselves, we should admit that a large percentage of what we deal with in wilderness medicine is mild illness/”not feeling too good,” rather than the exciting trauma/rescue stuff.
Let me know what you think, either here in the comments or on twitter using the tag #wwydwednesday. As always, I’ll be back on Friday or Saturday with my thoughts.
